Attention please!

When we go to the theatre our visual attention is always on the screen.
When we are at table our eyes are fixed on the plate.
When we are at the wheel our attention is always on the road ahead of us.
When we read a novel our visual and mental attention is on the page we read.
While working on a computer our hands are on the keyboard and our eyes on the monitor.
In the same way while at Holy Mass our whole attention must be on the altar, nowhere else.
