There is one thing that should kept after given. What is it?

God  chose us  from all eternity,

that we should be holy and unspotted in His sight.

He has predestined us to be His adopted children through Jesus Christ Our Lord. 

We have been called to become Christians.

  We can never adequately thank God for His calling us.

Suppose we are given  an appointment in a world famous company

with highest possible salary

without our having applied for it,

how happy we would be!

Suppose we are called by the king himself

to serve in his ministry, just imagine our feelings!

But both these calls are nothing when compared to our call by God.

We have been called by our Creator Himself to serve Him without retirement.

Salary?

God does not give salary,  but rewards us with eternal bliss.

Salary can be only spent, but reward can be enjoyed!

Enjoyed without end!

Accepting the call of Jesus, we have become Christians.

But that is not enough.

It is not enough that we enter a playground,  we must play.

It is not enough that we get admitted in a school,    we must study.

It is not enough that we go to bed, we must sleep.

It is not enough that we read a joke, we must laugh.

It is not enough that we open a book, we must read it.

It is not enough that we become Christians, we must live Christ.

There is one thing that should kept after given.

Word.

After giving a word, we must keep it.

Jesus is the Word of God.

We must give Him to whosoever we meet,

at the same time

we must keep Him with us

to be lived by us

and

to be given to others

again and again.
