A woman, who had  been suffering from   haemorrhage for twelve years, firmly believed that she could be cured  by touching Jesus'  clothes.

She entered the crowd which was following Him,  approached Him from behind and touched his cloak.

Immediately she was fully cured.

Jesus said to her,  "Daughter,  your faith has restored you to health; go in peace."

Every time Jesus cured a patient, He would say, "Your faith has cured you."

In truth Jesus cures the patient and the credit must go to Him and Him alone.

But Jesus gives the credit to the patient himself/herself by saying that his /her faith has given the cure.

Here we must remember one important fact.

Being omniscient, God   is unchangeable

Only those who can gain new knowledge or forget the old one can change in accordance with the knowledge gained or lost.

Though we finish writing  our final exam at school with satisfaction, we don't have any knowledge about the marks we will score.

So at the time of the result, our satisfaction will increase or decrease in accordance with the marks gained.

If we gain more than the expected marks our happiness will increase and will decrease if the reverse happens.

But God knows everything from all eternity and nothing can increase or decrease His perfect happiness.

So His stand never changes.

His love for us maintains the same perfection from all eternity.

His relationship with us is unlimited love for us.

We experience His love when we are without sin.

We fail to experience it when we commit sin.

On the part of God, His love for us remains the same whether we accept it or not.

So our relationship with God intensifies or weakens in accordance with  our stand which is subject to change.

So when we sin, God does not break His relationship with us,  but we break ours with Him.

In the same way, God has created us for eternal life with Him,

so,  He will never refuse us eternal life,

the full responsibility of gaining or losing heaven is with us.

In our prayer for a cure too, God is always ready to cure us,

but the responsibility of getting the cure is cent per cent with us.

If we have  full faith in God, we will be fully cured.

Prayer without faith will have no effect.

Prayer with faith will have wonderful effect.
