"I will establish a feud between thee and the woman, between thy offspring and hers." (Gen.3:15)

From the above words of God addressed to Satan we can infer the fact that  

 a great battle

between the reign of God and the reign of darkness,

and

between grace and sin

had begun right from the creation of man.

Lucifer,

the brightest and most beautiful of all angels God had created,

committed the sin of pride

and

rose  against God, his Creator.

His revolution ended in utter failure

and he fell into the abyss of hell

together with his companions.

Pride,

which was the cause of his failure,

continued to occupy him

and

he decided to establish his own kingdom,

the kingdom of darkness.

When God created man for His kingdom

Lucifer decided to draw him to his side.

From that moment began the battle

between the reign of God and the reign of darkness.

He might have thought

that he had won the battle by drawing Adam and Eve

to his side by making them sin

by breaking the spiritual relationship between God and man.

But, infinitely loving God would not allow His

'lovingly and in-His-own- image -  created' human beings to be lost just like that.

God is all-powerful.

If He had so willed He could have annihilated Satan to nothing even  before his tempting Eve.

But He permits evil,

that is,

does not hinder evil from happening,

if a greater good can be drawn out of it.

According to His eternal plan,

God decides to re-establish the relationship between God and man

by becoming a Man

and

amending for man's sins.

But it infuriated Satan and he decided that this should not happen.

So when Jesus was born he took steps to kill the child through Herod.

But Herod's efforts failed,

as Joseph and Mother Mary took Him to Egypt and returned after Herod died.

He lived in Nazareth for thirty years without publicly  showing Himself  as the expected Saviour.

Before entering public life He went to a wilderness,where he remained for forty days fasting.

Satan wanted to verify for Himself if He was Jesus.

So he tempted Him thrice.

He started the first temptation with the words,

"If thou art the Son of God.."

At the end of the third temptation, Jesus said,

"Thou shalt not put the Lord thy God to the proof"

Now it was sure that it was Jesus,  Son of God,  born to amend for the sins of world.

Then he left Him in peace until the time should come.

His plan was to kill Jesus before the amendment was done.

How exactly was the amendment going to be made might not have been known to him.

So satan helps those who plan to crucify Him.

He made use of Judas, who voluntarily accepted to betray Jesus.

Where sin is, there surely Satan is.

So satan plans to crucify Jesus making use of the scribes, Pharisees, Jewish elders and Judas.

Of course he succeeded in  carrying out the plan.

Jesus was crucified.

But, poor Satan! 

His plan backfired on himself!

His plan to put an end to the kingdom of God backfired on himself

by putting an end to his own kingdom!

By sacrificing Himself on the cross

Jesus amended for all the sins of the world,

ranging from the first sin committed by our first parents, 

to the last sin yet to be committed!

There was another blow for Satan.

Jesus prayed to His heavenly Father  to forgive those who crucified Him as they did not know what they did.

His prayer was genuine.

How can His loving Father ignore His dear Son's prayer?

We can believe that with the abundant grace showered by God on them they repented for their sins and were forgiven.

There is nothing wrong in believing positively.

But Satan lost his helpers.

Jesus brought us   salvation by His victory over Satan.

You may say  that even now sins are being committed and Satan is as busy as ever.

True.

But Jesus has sent his representatives all over the world, to forgive the sins committed by us.

They lay all the Satan's efforts waste.

But we must remember one thing,

we cannot get our salvation,

always available with Jesus,

just like that.

We must earn it with our hard work,

which will be easy with God's  grace,

which is always available for us.

Ask, it shall be given.

"Ask, and the gift will come;

seek, and you shall find;

knock, and the door shall be opened to you." said Jesus to His followers.

But there are instances when our needs are fulfilled without our asking for it.

The following is one of them.

"and there before him was a woman who for eighteen years had been possessed by a spirit that crippled her; she was bent double and quite unable to stand upright.

12 When Jesus saw her he called her over and said, 'Woman, you are freed from your disability,'

and he laid his hands on her. And at once she straightened up, and she glorified God."
(Luke.13:11,12, 13)

Jesus cured a woman who had been ill for eighteen years

without her or anybody's  requesting for the cure.

The president of the synagogue,  where Jesus cured the woman

found fault with Jesus   for having cured her on a Sabbath.

But,  Jesus said,  "And this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan has held bound these eighteen years -- was it not right to untie this bond on the Sabbath day?''

Jesus refers to her as 'daughter of Abraham'.

In His divinity He is the God of Abraham.

In His humanity, He is the son of Abraham as He was born in his lineage.

How kind and loving Jesus is!

He raises the status of a possessed and crippled woman to that of His sister!

According to Him both belong to the same lineage,  Abraham's.

When He taught us to pray,  He raised our status to that of His brothers and sisters by asking us to call His Father, 'our Father'!

He treats all of us as His own brothers and sisters.

How kind of Him!

When He created us we were merely humans, belonging to human family.

But when He became man to amend for our sins, as a man He belongs to our human family.

Many a times He referred to Himself as 'Son of man'.

By asking us to call His Father. 'our Father' He has adopted us as His brothers and sisters.

Yes, we are adopted children of our Heavenly Father! 

We are heirs to the kingdom of God.

"Those who follow the leading of God’s Spirit are all God’s sons; 

15 the spirit you have now received is not, as of old, a spirit of slavery, to govern you by fear;

it is the spirit of adoption, which makes us cry out, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit himself thus assures our spirit, that we are children of God; 

17 and if we are his children, then we are his heirs too; heirs of God, sharing the inheritance of Christ; " (Romans.8:14-17)

Do we realize our greatness?

If we realize our family status, we will not run after worldly things.

As we are children of our heavenly Father,  heaven is our home, not this world.

It is just an inn where we can rest for sometime and then leave.

We must earn only what can be deposited in 'The Eternal Bank of Heaven'. 

''Lay up treasure for yourselves in heaven, where there is no moth or rust to consume it, no thieves to break in and steal."
(Matthew. 6:20)

"Then Jesus fastened his eyes on him, and conceived a love for him; In one thing, he said, thou art still wanting.

Go home and sell all that belongs to thee; give it to the poor, and so the treasure thou hast shall be in
heaven; " (Mark. 10:21)

"Sell what you have, and give alms, so providing yourselves with a purse that time cannot wear holes in, an inexhaustible treasure laid up in heaven, where no thief comes near, no moth consumes."(Luke. 12:33)

Higher the status,  more the responsibilities.

Grown-ups have more responsibilities than children.

Born as children of the world, we have been adopted as the children of God.

We must behave as such.

As we are the children of God,  we are supposed to love Him,  obey Him,  please Him and be thankful to Him.

"Jesus, dear brother,

We love you above all things.

We promise to obey all your commandments.

We will always be thankful to you for your adopting us as your brothers and sisters."

When we receive Holy Communion,

we receive the very same Jesus,

who was conceived in Mother Mary's womb,

who was  obedient to His mother and Foster father for thirty years,

who went about preaching His word and curing people for three years ,

who sacrificed Himself on the Cross for the salvation of humanity,

who rose to life on third day of His death, 

who went up to heaven forty days after His resurrection

and

who is still with us in the Holy Eucharist to feed us with His body and blood

so that we may live eternally with Him in heaven.

The above words are meant to bring home to us the reality behind Holy Eucharist.

Is it  merely a memory? 

No, it s is real.

We keep statues of Saints in the church and even at home.

They are kept in their memory,

that is,

they are kept to remind us of the Saints,

whose statues they are.

But statues are statues, not Saints.

It is only to be helpful to us to venerate the Saints they refer to

that we keep statues.

We venerate the Saints, not statues.

It is not so with Eucharist.

Eucharist does not refer to Jesus, it is Jesus Himself.

Just as living we are realities,  not memories,

Holy Eucharist is a reality, not memory.

Jesus is really present in the Eucharist.

When we receive the consecrated host, we receive the very Jesus who was born of May.

When receive Holy Communion

we become in a way  Mother Marys,

as we have in ourselves the same Jesus she had in her womb!

We bear (take)  the same Jesus

whom Mother Mary bore (gave birth to)!

After receiving Jesus through Holy Communion,  we pray to Him,

"Suffer me not to be separated from thee."

We request Jesus not let us to be separated from Him.

Why don't we simply say, "Jesus, I won't separate myself from you."?

We know we are frail.

Even if we decide to do something good,

the human frailty in us will come in our way

and will prevent us from keeping to our decision.

How many times have we made new year decisions

and failed to carry them out in practical life?

So, even if we decide,

when we receive Jesus,

never to separate ourselves from Him,

Satan,

who is roaming about in search  of 'Adams and Eves' to be devoured,

will near us with attractive 'fruits'.

There is a danger of our leaving  Jesus to follow  Satan.

Humbly accepting our inability to remain united with Jesus,

left to ourselves,

each one of us must tell Him,

"Jesus, my Lord,

I have received you just now.

You are within me.

I love you.

I want to remain united with you always. 

But, I know my weakness.

Left to myself,  I may fall away from you at any time.

So, please, help me.

You are all-powerful.

Knowing my weakness I surrender myself totally before you for protection.

Please,   don't  let me be  separated from you  by any external power.

Keep me united with you so that I may not fall a prey to the snares of Satan.

Fill me with your grace

to enable me to lead a holy spiritual life,

which must continue with you with me eternally."

Jesus will surely answer our prayer thus:

''My dear child,

I have promised to  be with you

all through the days that are coming,

until the consummation of the world.

I will keep to my promise.

You have received me in person.

My presence within you is not something to be kept and enjoyed by yourself, 

but to be given to others, to enjoy a spiritually united heavenward journey.

Why do you come to Holy Mass, to receive or to give?

To receive in order to give.

First you receive my Words through  Gospel reading and preaching.

Then you receive me.

Whosoever truly loves me will love his neighbours too.

Whosoever loves his neighbours will share with them what he thinks good for him.

If you love your neighbours,  share me and my words with them.

I created all the human beings in my image.

So see me in all your neighbours,

Whatever you do to them, you do to me.

When  you are at peace with them, you are at peace with me.

When  you are spiritually united with them, you are united with me too.

Your relationship with me and Your relationship with your neighbours  are interrelated,

that means,

I must be the centre of all your relationships.

In short, I must be the uniting factor of all your relationships.

I am love.

So love for me must be the life giving force of your love for others.

Worldly love without me is not spiritually meritorious.

As long as you love and serve your neighbours for me,

you are united with me.

My dear child, I am always with you as I have promised.

Keep in mind all your Baptismal Promises and keep to them."

Receiving Jesus is not enough.

We must share Him with our neighbours all our life through our love and service for them.

As long as we love and serve others in the name of Jesus,

we remain united with Him.

Usually after receiving Holy Communion, we pray,

“Passion of Christ, strengthen me.”

How can the  suffering Christ strengthen us

when He Himself seems

to have been been weak to the extent of being afraid of suffering,

to be unable to fight with His enemies,

to have fallen on the ground  thrice  being unable to bear the burden of the Cross,

to have asked His Father "why have you forsaken me?"

How can Jesus’ suffering and death strengthen anyone? 

Can weakness make us strong?

Such questions may be asked  by people who don't know the reality behind the passion of Christ.

Was Jesus weak or strong?

Jesus is the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity.

He is infinite in His love, power, wisdom and all other attributes.

Almighty God became man to deliver us from our sins by sacrificing Himself on the Cross.

Jesus is fully God and fully man.

So Jesus has two natures, Divine and human.

In His Divine nature He is Almighty.

In His human nature, He made Himself  like us in all respects, except sin.

He took upon Himself all our sins in order to atone for them.

As a Man

He was

weak like us, 

hungry like us,

afraid like us,

prone to feel sad, to weep and to suffer like us

and

subject to death like us.

But He took all these frailties with Him onto the Cross

and offered them,
along with Himself,

to His Father,

so that we may be freed from them.

At resurrection

Jesus defeated spiritual death completely

together with our frailties.

By 'spiritual death' I refer to our loss of relationship with God when we fall into mortal sin.

He won over this death

by amending for all the sins of humanity,

committed in the past,

being committed at present

and to be committed in future

and

by having opened the ways for the forgiveness of all our sins

through the sacrament of confession.

Jesus' physical death on the Cross has enabled us to recover from our spiritual death by contrition and confession.

We must make use of this Sacrament and get all our sins forgiven and rise  to spiritual life.

Without passion there could not have been resurrection.

By His Passion (Jesus' suffering and death)

He won over our spiritual  death and the frailties related to it.

When we say, "Passion of Christ, strengthen me,"

we say, "Jesus, who won over spiritual weakness by your passion,  strengthen me spiritually, so that I may win over 'sin and spiritual death'."

Jesus was afraid of the sufferings to the extent of requesting His Heavenly Father,

"Father, if it pleases thee, take away this chalice from before me."

But as He was spiritually strong, He said immediately,

"only as thy will is, not as mine is."

We ask Jesus to share with us His strength so that we may subject ourselves to Divine will at the times of temptations against it.

The “strength” of Jesus’s passion is the strength of His freely choosing to be obedient to the Father’s will.

Jesus' words,

“Greater love than this has no man that a man lay down his life for his friends.”

   show us another factor in the strength of the Passion.

We pray for this strength also,  to be ready to suffer and even die for our neighbours.

The strength we pray for is a supernatural strength, that is available only in Jesus.

Passion or suffering to be borne needs strength.

We are expected to suffer for Christ, to do which spiritual strength is a must.

As a man Jesus was physically weak just like us,

but spiritually very strong.

''Jesus,

give us strength

to suffer for You as you suffered for us,

to conquer our temptations,

to bear the sufferings sent by you

and offer them up to our Heavenly Father as amendment for the sins of the world,

and

to spread your word far and wide, to all the people and bring them into your fold.

Amen."

Judgments are confessions of character.

When we pass judgement on others, we do the same on ourselves.

Rather, we confess what kind of people we are.

When we pass judgment on someone,

we   criticize or condemn his/her subjectively 

from a position of assumed moral superiority.

When we look at a mirror,  we see our own self reflected there.

Passing judgment on others is like looking at the mirror,

because we see our own self reflected in them.

Our judgment is only a self reflection.

If we are good people, we will see only what is good in others.

Even in things not good we can see some good,

if we are positive minded,

as some greater good can be drawn out of it.

Sin is not good.

But it is because of the sin committed by our first parents

that God became man like us in order to redeem us from sin.

So much so,

we say during the
Easter Vigil service,

“O Happy Fault that merited such and so great a Redeemer!”

We know from history that Hitler was a German Dictator responsible for the first  world war.

One teacher asked his students to write five sentences about what was good in Hitler.

One boy wrote,

1.Hitler was a man.

2.He was created by God.

3.He was loved by God.

4.He loved his country.

5.He died for his country.

Even in a cruel dictator like Hitler one could trace some good traits!

One teacher marked a black  ink spot on a purely white wall

and asked the students to write one sentence

about what they saw on the wall.

Most of the students wrote,

"There is a black spot on the Wall."

Some wrote, "Black and white are opposites."

One boy wrote, "The wall is white."

The teacher asked him,

"Didn't you see the black spot?"

The boy replied,

"Why should I take a bitter fruit when there are so many sweet ones near by? "

Teacher: "Good. Correct."

Most of the times we pass subjective judgments,

that is, we tell what kind of person he is in our personal opinion.

Personal statements reveal our personality.

Why should we unnecessarily reveal our defects before others?

"Do not judge others, or you yourselves will be judged."(Matthew. 7:1)

Entry into the material body, entry into the mystical body of Christ, entry into Christ Himself.

We, that is our souls, have three stages of entries all our life, from conception to eternity.

Man was nothing before his creation.

Just as God made man with the 'clay of the ground,'

(which had already been created by Him for the purpose,)

and 'breathed' a soul into it,

He breathes a soul into our body

conceived by our parents,

(of course it is the mother who conceives, but with the cooperation of the father)

as per His eternal plan.

This is our entry into a material body.

Wherever I mention 'Our', I refer to our soul.

Dew to the sin of our first parents we are conceived with original sin.

When we are baptized we are freed from our original sin.

The moment our original sin is forgiven,

we make our entry into the Mystical body of Christ,

our holy Mother the Catholic Church,

instituted by Jesus Himself for our salvation.

Just as our conception is the gateway to human life,

baptism is the gateway to the Mystical body of Christ.

All the baptized souls

living in this world,

purgatory,

and heaven are the members of this Body.

Our only work in this body is to workout our salvation, nothing else.

When I say 'nothing else', you may ask, "what about our temporal life?"

Our temporal life must be helpful to our spiritual life,

to attain the end for which we were created.

Just as we do physical exercises to make our body fit for some physical labour,

we have to do a lot of spiritual exercises to make ourselves  fit to be saved.

The whole set of exercises can be described by one name, prayer,

which is nothing but life in union with Christ.

The set includes

  obeying the commandments of God, that is, loving God and our neighbour,      

meditation,

contemplation,

receiving sacraments,

attending Holy Mass,

doing good works,   etc.

When we do all these exercises properly,

sin will automatically get out of our way.  

After leading a prayerful life,

we will reach another gate, death,

through which we will enter Christ Himself.

Christ is God, one with His Father and Holy Spirit.

So we enter the Most Holy Trinity, to live with Him
eternally.

Looking from the worldly point of view,

death is an end to our life in this world.

Looking from the spiritual point of view, 

death is the beginning of our eternal blissful life, with God.

In fact, we were born to die to this world

and to live with God.

We entered our material body through conception,

entered Christ's mystical Body through baptism,

and will enter Christ Himself through death.

How blessed we are!

ஒருமை, பன்மை வித்தியாசத்தில் அப்படி என்ன விசேசம்?

ஒருமை படைக்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொருவரையும் தனித்தனியே குறிக்கும்.

Singular term refers to each and every person, taken individually.

Each and every person must believe in God.

ஒவ்வொரு தனிப்பட்ட நபரும்
இறைவனை விசுவசிக்க வேண்டும், நம்ப வேண்டும், நேசிக்கவேண்டும்.

இயேசு மனுக்குலம் மொத்தத்திற்காக மட்டுமல்ல, தனிப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொருவருக்காகவும் தன்னையே பலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.

இரட்சண்யம் அடைய விரும்பும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் விசுவசிக்க வேண்டும்.

கூட்டத்தோடு நாமும் 'விசுவசிக்கிறோம்' என்று சொன்னால், அது வார்த்தையளவில்கூட இருக்கலாம்.

மற்றவர்கள் விசுவசிப்பது நமக்கு எப்படித் தெரியும்?

'விசுவசிக்கிறேன்' என்று சொன்னால் நாம் சொல்வது உண்மையா, வெறும் வார்த்தையா என்று நமக்கு தெரியும்.

நாம் விசுவசிக்கவும், விசுவாத்தை ஆழப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளவும் அது உதவியாய் இருக்கும்.

இயேசு தனது தந்தையை "எங்கள் ததையே" என்று அழைக்கச் சொன்னார்.

தந்தையிடம் வேண்டும்போது,

"  'எங்கள் அனுதின
உணவை'

எங்களுக்கு இன்று அளித்தருளும்"

என்று வேண்டச் சொன்னார்.

"நான் விசுவசிக்கிறேன்" என்று ஒருமையில் சொல்லிவிட்டு

உணவைக் கேட்கும்போது ஏன் "எங்கள் அனுதின உணவை" என்று பன்மையில் கூறுகிறோம்?

"பகிர்ந்து உண்டால் பசி தீரும்" என்று தமிழில் ஒரு பழமொழி உண்டு.

நாம் உணவை, தனியே அல்ல,  பகிர்ந்து உண்ண வேண்டும் என்பதையே இயேசு விரும்புகிறார்.

நாம் எல்லோரும் இறைவனின் பிள்ளைகள்.

உணவை மட்டுமல்ல,  இறைவன் தரும் எந்தப் பொருளையும், தேவைப்படும் அயலானுக்குக் கொடுக்காமல், தனித்தே பயன்படுத்த நமக்கு உரிமை இல்லை.

நல்ல சமாரித்தன் உவமை இந்தக் கருத்தையும் விளக்குகிறது.

அடிபட்டுக் கிடப்பவன்,

"கள்வர்கையில் அகப்பட்டான்.

அவர்கள் அவன் ஆடைகளைப் பறித்துக்கொண்டு

அவனைக் காயப்படுத்திக் குற்றுயிராய் விட்டுச் சென்றார்கள்."

அடிபட்டுக் கிடந்தவனிடம் ஏதுமில்லை.

நல்ல சமாரித்தனிடம் இரக்கம்  இருந்தது, பொருள் இருந்தது.

தன்னிடம் இருந்ததை இல்லாதவனோடு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறான்,

அதாவது,

அவற்றை அவனுக்காகப் பயன்படுத்திக் காப்பாற்றுகிறான்.

"உன்மீது நீ அன்புகாட்டுவதுபோல், உன் அயலான்மீதும் நீ அன்புகாட்டுவாயாக"

இறைவனால் படைக்கப்பட்ட அனைவரும் நமது உடன்பிறந்தவர்களே.

நாம் நம்மை எப்படி நேசிக்கிறோமோ

அப்படியே நமது உடன்பிறந்தவர்களையும் நேசிக்கவேண்டும்.

இறைவனிடம் எதைக் கேட்டாலும் அதை நமக்காக மட்டுமல்ல. நமது உடன்பிறப்புகளுக்கும் சேர்த்தே கேட்கவேண்டும்.

அவ்வாறு கேட்டால்  இறைவன் நாம் கேட்டவற்றை ஒன்று அவரவர்க்கு தனித்தனியே கொடுப்பார்,  அல்லது நம் மூலமாகக் கொடுப்பார்.

ஆகவே நமது தேவைக்கு அதிகமாக நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் அவற்றை மற்றவர்களோடு பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்.

"இறைவா!  நீர் உலகோர் அனைவருக்கும் தந்தை என்று  விசுவசிகக்கிறேன்.

எல்லொரையும் உம் அருள் வரத்தால் நிரப்பி இரட்சித்தருளும், ஆண்டவரே."

கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வில் நாம் விண் நோக்கிச் செல்லும் பயணம் ஒரு உல்லாசப் பயணம் அல்ல.

உண்மையில் இது ஒரு ஆன்மீகப் போர்க்களம்.

இது ஒரு வித்தியாசமான போர்க்களம்.

நமது உண்மையான எதிரி சாத்தான்.

நமது நித்திய இல்லமாகிய மோட்சத்துக்கு நம்மைப் போகவிடாதபடி தடுப்பதே அவன் வேலை.

அதற்கு அவன் பயன்படுத்தும் ஆயுதங்கள் கவர்ச்சிகரமான சோதனைகள்.

இதில் பயப்பவேண்டிய விசயமே ஆயுதங்களின் கவர்ச்சிதான்!

உண்மையில் சாத்தான் பயங்கரமானவன்.

பயங்கரமான சாத்தானால் எப்படி கவர்ச்சியாகச் சோதிக்கமுடிகிறது?

இந்தக் கேள்விக்குறிய பதில் ரொம்பப் பயங்கரமானது!

நமது உலக வாழ்விலும், ஆன்மீக வாழ்விலும்

நமக்கு உதவுவதற்கென்று இறைவனால் படைக்கப்பட்ட

நமது உடலையும், உலகையும் தந்திரமாகத்

தன் வசப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு

அவற்றின் உதவியுடன்

தனது கவர்ச்சிகரமான சோதனைக் கணைகளை

நம்மீது ஏவுகிறான்.

அந்தவகையில் நமது உடலும், உலகும் நமது எதிரிகளாக மாறிவிடுவதால்,

நாம், அதாவது, நமது ஆன்மா

அவற்றையும் எதிர்த்துப் போராட வேண்டியுள்ளது.

உலகிலிருந்து நமது ஐம்புலங்களின் வழியேதான் சாத்தான் சோதனைகளை அனுப்புகிறான்.

அன்று ஏவாள் பாம்பு உருவத்திலிருந்த சாத்தானைப்

'பார்க்காதிருந்திருந்தால்',

அதோடு 'பேசாதிருந்திருந்தால்',

அதன் வார்த்தைகளைக்

'கேட்காதிருந்திருந்தால்'

அது கொடுத்த கனியைச்

'சாப்பிடாதிருந்திருந்தால்',

ஆதாமுக்கு அதைக் 'கொடுக்காதிருந்திருந்தால்'

உலகில் பாவம் நுழைந்திருக்காது!

ஏவாளின் கண், காது, கை,  வாய்  வழியாகவே பாவம் நுழைந்திருக்கிறது.

சென்மப்பாவத்தின் விளைவாக நமது சுபாவமும் பழுதடைந்துவிட்டமையால்

நமது ஐம்புலன்களும் பசாசின் சோதனைக்குள்

விழக்கூடிய அளவிற்கு பலகீனமாய் உள்ளன.

இப்பலகீனத்தைப் பசாசு பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்கிறது.

ஐம்புலன்களும் பாவத்தை நாடும்போது அவற்றை எதிர்த்துப் போராடவேண்டியிருக்கிறது.

கற்புக்கு எதிரான பாவங்கள், கொலை, கொள்ளை, பிறரைக் கெடுத்துப் பேசுதல், அசுசியான சினிமா, T. V காட்சிகள் பார்த்தல் -

பாவங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையை அடுக்கிக்கொண்டேபோனால் ஏடும் கொள்ளாது, நாடும் கொள்ளாது.

ஏனெனில் பெரும்பாலான பாவங்களை நம் புலன்கள் உதவியுடனே செய்கிறோம்.

நமது புலன்களுக்கெதிரான போராட்டம் நம் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தொடரும்.

ஆனால் பாவத்தை விலக்க ஆசிப்பவர்கட்குதான் போராட்டம்.

போரில் வெற்றி பெற்றால் நித்திய பேரின்பம்.

போராடாமல் சோதனை வெள்ளத்தோடு போனால் உலகில் சிற்றின்பம்,

முடிவில் நித்திய நரகம்.

நமது எல்லா பாவங்களையும் நமது ஐம்புலன்களாலேயே செய்வதால்

அவற்றுக்குப் பரிகாரம் செய்ய வந்த இயேசு

தனது ஐம்புலன்களையும் சிலுவை மரத்தில் பலியாக்கினார்.

அவர் தரும் அருளாலேயே நம் ஐம்புலன்களையும் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குள் கொண்டுவர முடியும்.

"பொறிவாயில் ஐந்தவித்தான் பொய்தீர் ஒழுக்க 
நெறிநின்றார் நீடுவாழ் வார்.''

"சிலுவைப் பொறியில் தனது ஐந்து புலன்களையும் பலியாக்கிய

இயேசுவின் ஒழுக்கநெறிப்படி வாழ்பவர்களே
நித்திய வாழ்வு பெறுவர்"

இறைவன் நம்மைப் படைக்குமுன்னே உலகத்தைப் படைத்து நம்மை அதில் வாழவைத்தார்.

ஆனால் சாத்தான் உலகில் இருந்த, படைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு மரத்தின் கனியைக் கொண்டே நமது முதல் பெற்றோரை ஏமாற்றி விட்டது.

இப்போதும் அது நமக்காகப் படைக்கப்பட்ட பொருட்களைக் கொண்டுதான் நம்மை ஏமாற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

உணவு, உடை, இருப்பிடம்  ஆகிய மூள்றும் நாம் உலகில் வாழ அத்தியாவசியப் பொருட்கள்.

வாழ்வதற்காகத்தான் உணவு.

ஆனால் 'வாழ்வதே உண்பதற்காகத்தானே' என்பது போலல்லவா நமது உணவுப் பழக்கங்ஙளை வைத்திருக்கிறோம்!

போசனப் பிரியம் (gluttony) தலையான பாவங்களில் ஒன்று.

பயன் கருதி உண்ணாமல் ருசி மட்டும் கருதி உண்பவன் இப்பாவத்திற்குப் பலியாகத் தயாராகிறான்.

ருசியோடு சாப்பிடுறது தப்பில்லை,

ருசிக்காகச் சாப்பிடுறதும் தப்பில்லை,

ருசியாயிருக்க்கிறதென்று அளவுக்கு மீறிச் சாப்பிடுவதுதான்  தப்பு.

அளவுக்கு மீறிச் சாப்பிட்டால் வேலையை ஒழுங்காகச் செய்யமுடியாது.

போசனப்பிரியன் சோம்பேறியாக மாறுவான்.

சோம்பேறித்தனம் சாத்தானின் பட்டரை.

Laziness is the workshop of the  devil.

சோம்பலாய் இருக்கும்போதுதான் வேண்டாத எண்ணங்களெல்லாம் மனதை ஆக்கிரமிகக்கும்.

திராட்சை இரசம் (Wine) ஒரு உணவுப்பொருள், மட்டோடு சாப்பிட்டால்,

மது, மட்டுக்கு மிஞ்சினால்.

ஒருநாள் ஒரு ஆண்மகனை

நிறைந்த நகைகள் அணிந்த ஒரு பெண் முன் நிறுத்தி,

அருகே ஒரு Wine நிறைந்த  bottle ஐயும் வைத்து

அவனிடம் இவ்வாறு கூறப்பட்டது:

உனக்கு மூன்று Options தரப்படுகின்றன.

ஏதாவது ஒன்றைமட்டும் தேர்வு செய்ய வேண்டும்.

வன்முறைபைப் பயன்படுத்தி பெண்ணின் நகைகளைக் கொள்ளையடிக்க வேண்டும்.

அல்லது

அந்தப் பெண்ணைக் கற்பழிக்க வேண்டும்.

அல்லது

ஓரு பாட்டில் Wine ஐயும் மிச்சம் வைக்காமல் குடித்துவிடவேண்டும்.

அவன் யோசித்தான்.

முதல் இரண்டும் பாவங்கள். செய்யக்கூடாது.

மூன்றாவது option உணவுப்பொருளைச் சாப்பிடுவது.

மது அருந்துவது குற்றம் என்றாலும் மற்ற இரண்டையும்விட கனம் குறைந்தது.

அதையேத் தேர்வு செய்து, ஒரு பாட்டில் Wineஐயும் குடித்துவிட்டான்.

விளைவு?

போதைத் தலைக்கு ஏறி,  மற்ற இரண்டையும் செய்ததோடு

சொல்லப்படாத நான்காவது ஒன்றையும் செய்துவிட்டான்,

போராடிக்கொண்டிருந்த அந்தப் பெண்ணைக் கழுத்தை நெறித்துக் கொன்றுவிட்டான்!

சாத்தான் இப்படித்தான் சோதிக்கும்.

இது கொஞ்சம்தானே, சாப்பிட்டால் பரவாயில்லை.

ஒரு ரூபாய்தானே, எடுத்தால் பெரிய பாவமில்லை.

கன்றுதான் மரமாய் வளரும்.

துளிகள்தான் வெள்ளமாய் மாறும்.

சின்ன சண்டைகள்தான் யுத்தமாய் மாறும்.

சிறிய குற்றங்கள்தான் பெரிய பாவங்களாய் வளரும்.

பசாசின் 'இவ்வளவுதானே'க்கு இடம் கொடுத்துவிடக்கூடாது.

உணவைப் போலவே நமக்கு எதிராகச் சாத்தான் திருப்பிவிடும் இன்னொரு பொருள் உடை.

உணவு விசயத்தில் அளவுக்குமிஞ்சி ஆசை ஊட்டும் சாத்தான்,

அதற்கு எதிரான ஆசையை,

அதாவது எவ்வளவு குறைந்த அளவு உடுக்க முடியுமோ அவ்வளவு உடுக்கச் சோதிக்கிறது.

நமது உடல் பரிசுத்மானது.

பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் ஆலயம்.

அது ஒரு கவர்ச்சிப் பொருளோ, காட்சிப் பொருளோ அல்ல.

ஆலயத்தைப் பார்த்தவுடன் பக்தி உணர்வு தோன்றவேண்டுமே தவிர

கவர்ச்சி உணர்ச்சி
தோன்றக்கூடாது.

உடற்கவர்ச்சி காமத்துக்கு வழி வகுக்கும்.

கற்பு நெறி காக்க Decent ஆக உடை அணியவேண்டும்.

உடை மானத்தைக்  காக்கவேண்டும்.

மானத்தை வாங்கக்கூடாது.

சாத்தான் அளவுக்கு மீறிக் குறைந்த உடைக்கு Fashion என்று பெயர் வைத்திருக்கிறான்.

குறைந்த உடையுடன் பொது இடங்களுக்கு, குறிப்பாகக் கோவிலுக்கு வருவோர் மற்றவர்களைக் கெடுக்கின்றனர்.

உடை விசயத்தில் சாத்தானின் சோதனைக்கு இடம் கொடுப்போர்

தாங்களும் கெட்டு பிறரையும் கெடுக்கின்றனர்.

உலகில்  சாத்தானுக்குப் பிடித்த முக்கியமான ஒரு பொருள் பணம்.

பண ஆசைதான் யூதாசைக் கெடுத்தது.

இப்போது நம்மையும் அதுதான் சோதித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

ஊழலுக்கு வழி வகுக்கும் லஞ்சம் கொடுக்க, வாங்கப் பயன்படுவது பணம்தான்.

நமது ஆடம்பர, ஊதாரித்தனமான வாழ்வுக்குப் பயன்படுவதும் பணம்தான்.

நல்லவனைத் திருடனாக மாற்றுவதும் பணம்தான்.

திருமணம்,கல்வி,  மருத்துவம், பிறர் பணி போன்ற நல்ல காரியங்களை வியாபாரமாக மாற்றுவதும் பணம்தான்.

கலப்படம் அற்ற அன்போடு கொடுக்கப்படும் பணம் காணிக்கை, பிறருக்கு உதவி, நன்கொடை எனப்படும்.

அன்பு இல்லாவிட்டால் பணம் வியாபாரமாகிவிடும்.

நல்ல காரியத்துக்காக நாம் பணத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துவது சாத்தானுக்குப் பிடிக்காது.

அது தற்பெருமை உணர்வை நம்முள் புகுத்தி நற்செயலை வியாபாரமாக்க முயலும்.

நாம் கவனமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

இப்போதும் உலகில் கிடைக்கும்

புகழ், வசதிகள், அதிகாரம் போன்றவற்றைக் காண்பித்து,

ஆசையூட்டி நம்மை பாவம் செய்யத் தூண்டுவான்.

இவற்றை அடைய

நமது இறைநோக்குப் பயணத்தை நிறுத்தும்படி சோதிப்பான்.

"வேண்டியது இறைவனா? இவ்வுலகப் புகழா?"

மனதில் ஒரு போரே நடக்கும்.

இறைவன் வென்றால் நமக்கு வெற்றி.

புகழ் வென்றால் நமக்குத் தோல்வி.

போரில் வெற்றிபெற சுயமுயற்சியால் முடியாது.

இறை அருள் உதவி இல்லாது அணுவைக்கூட அசைக்க முடியாது.

இறையருளைப் பெற

செபம்,

தவம், 

ஒறுத்தல் முயற்சிகள்,

தியானம், 

இறைவனால் அனுப்பப்படும் துன்பங்களை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டு நமது பாவங்களுக்குப் பரிகாரமாக அவருக்கே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தல்

  போன்ற பக்தி முயற்சிகளைச் செய்யவேண்டும்.

சாத்தானோடு நாம் செய்யும் போரில்

நமது ஆயுதங்களும் இவைதான்.

இறைவரம் வேண்டுவோம்.

"விண்ணகத் தந்தையே,

எங்களைச் சோதனையில் விழ விடாதேயும்,

தீமையிலிருந்து எங்களை இரட்சியும். ஆமென்"

எவ்வளவு பெரிய போராய் இருந்தாலென்ன

இறை அருளுடன்

வெற்றிவாகை சூடுவோம்,

இறையகம் ஏகுவோம்.

விண்ணில் வாழும் அன்பு நிறை அம்மா,

சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு  எனது Facebookகில் தங்கள்  படம் ஒன்றைப் பகிர்ந்தேன்.

அதன் அடியில் தாங்கள் கூறியிருக்கும் பின்வரும் வசனம் இருந்தது:

"ஜெபமாலை வழியாக எதைக் கேட்டாலும் நான் தருவேன்-
அன்னை மாமரி."

இவ்வசனத்தை வாசித்துவிட்டு,  தாய்த்திருச்சபையை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து சென்ற சகோதரர் (எனது நெருங்கிய  உறவினர்) ஒருவர் பின்வருமாறு Comment செய்திருந்தார்,

"யேசுவே அவரது தாயான மரியாளோ செபமாலை சொல்லி எங்களுக்காக வேண்டிக்கொள்ளும் என்றால் என்வழியாக கேளுங்கள் என்றோ மரியாள் சொல்லியிருப்பதாக ஆதாரமிருந்தால் தயவுசெய்து காட்டுங்கள்."

நான் அவருக்குப் பின்வருமாறு பதில் அளித்தேன்,

"அம்மாவிடம் நமக்கு வேண்டியதைக் கேட்க ஆதாரம் தேவையில்லை.

அம்மா மீது அன்பும், நம்பிக்கையும் இருந்தால் போதும்.

ஆசிரியரிடம் மாணவன் கேட்டான்,  "சார், நான் படிக்காவிட்டால் அடிப்பதற்கு சட்டபூர்வமாக ஆதாரம் இருக்கிறதா?"

ஆசிரியர் சொன்னார்.  "உன் மேல் கரிசனம் இருக்கிறது, அக்கரை இருக்கிறது. உன்னைக் கண்டித்து படிக்கவைக்க அது போதும். "

அன்னை மரியாள் நம் தாய். அவளிடம் வேண்டியதைக் கேட்க நமக்கு உரிமை இருக்கிறது.

அவளைத் தாயாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாதவர்கட்கு என் பதில் புரியாது."

என்று பதில் அளித்திருந்தேன்

என் பதிலுக்குப் பின்வருமாறு பதில் அளித்தார்,

"இது உலகப்பிரகாரமான கருத்து. விவிலியமே கிறிஸ்துவத்தின் அடிப்படை. Sorry மாமா.நான் கிறிஸ்துவர்களிடம் சொல்ல வேண்டியதை கத்தோலிக்கர்களிடம் சொல்லி எதிர்பார்த்து சொல்லிவிட்டேன்."

இதற்கு நான் பதில் அளிக்கவில்லை.

ஏனெனில்,

அடிப்படை வாய்ப்பாட்டை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாதவர்கட்கு எந்தக் கணக்கை எப்படி விளக்கினாலும் புரியாது.

இருந்தாலும் இதை இப்படியே விட்டு விட முடியாது.

இவர்கள் நம்மைவிட்டு பிரிந்துசென்றுவிட்டாலும் உம்முடைய பிள்ளைகள்தானே.

அவர்களுக்காகவும்தானே

நீர் பத்து மாதம் சுமந்து பெற்றெடுத்த,

பாலூட்டி, பாராட்டி, சீராட்டி வளர்த்த

அன்புத் திருமகன் இரத்தம் சிந்தி

பாடுகள் பட்டு

சிலுவையில் தன் இன்னுயிரை பலியாக்கினார்.

அவர்கட்கு உமது மகன் வேண்டுமாம், நீர் வேண்டாமாம்.

இயேசுவை இறைவன் என்று ஏற்றுக் கொள்வார்களாம்,

அவரைப் பெற்ற உம்மை இறைவனின் தாய் என்று ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள மாட்டார்களாம்.

எனக்கொரு சந்தேகம்,  அவர்களைப் பற்றி.

தங்களுக்கும், தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளுக்குமான உறவைக் குறிப்பிடும்போது 'இன்னாருடைய பெற்றோர்'னு சொல்வாங்களா?

'இன்னாருடைய உடலின் பெற்றோர்'னு சொல்வாங்களா?

அவர்கள் கருவுற்றது உடலைமட்டும்தானே!

அவர்கட்கு  இயேசு வேண்டுமாம், 

அவரால் நிருவப்பட்ட கத்தோலிக்க திருச்சபை வேண்டாமாம்.

அவர்கட்கு பைபிள் மட்டும் போதுமாம்,

'இதுதான் பைபிள்' என்று நிர்ணயித்த பாரம்பரியம் வேண்டாமாம்.

அம்மா,

பைபிள் உங்கள் மகனுக்கு  மட்டுமே முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கிறதினால அவர் மட்டுமே  போதுமாம்.

எங்களுக்கும் தெரியும் மொத்த பைபிளின் மையமும்

உங்கள் மகனும், எங்கள் இரட்சகருமான இயேசு  கிறிஸ்துதான் என்று.

எங்களுக்கும் கிறிஸ்துதான் முக்கியம்.

அதனால்தான் கிறிஸ்து எதற்கெல்லாம் முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தாரோ

அதற்கெல்லாம் அவருக்காக நாங்கள் முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கிறோம்.

அவர் நற்செய்தியை போதிக்கமட்டும் செய்யவில்லை, அவரே வாழ்ந்தும் காட்டினார்.

இறைவன் நமக்கு அளித்த பத்துக் கட்டளைகளில்  முதல் மூன்றும் நமக்கும், இறைவனுக்கும் உள்ள உறவு பற்றியது.

நான்காவது  நமக்கும் நமது பெற்றோருக்கும் உள்ள உறவு பற்றியது.

4. "பிதாவையும் மாதாவையும் சங்கித்திருப்பாயாக !"

அம்மா, 'எதற்காக எனக்குத் தெரிந்ததெல்லாம் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாய்?' என்று கேட்டுவிடாதீர்கள்.

என் மனதில் உள்ளதையெல்லாம் அம்மாவிடம் கொட்டாமல்  வேறு யாரிடம் கொட்டுவேன்?

தங்கள் மகன் இறைவன்.

இறைத்தந்தையின் சித்தத்தை நிறைவேற்றவே உலகில் பிறந்தார் என்று எல்லோருக்கும் தெரியும்.

"என் விருப்பத்தை நிறைவேற்ற அன்று, என்னை அனுப்பினவருடைய விருப்பத்தை நிறைவேற்றவே நான் வானத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவந்தேன்."(அரு.6:38)

மனித சுபாவத்தில் அவருக்குத் தந்தை இல்லை.

தாயாகிய உங்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தார் என்று எங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்.

நான்காவது கட்டளையைக் கொடுத்தவர் அவர்தானே!

தங்களுக்கு உள்ள,

அவரே அளித்திருந்த,

சுதந்திரத்தை (Freedom of choice) மதித்து,

உங்கள் வயிற்றில் மனுவுரு எடுக்க தங்கள் அனுமதியைப்பெற

கபிரியேல் தூதரை

உங்களிடம் அனுப்பினார்.

 "இதோ! ஆண்டவருடைய அடிமை. உமது வாத்தையின்படியே எனக்கு ஆகட்டும்"

எனத் தாங்கள் கூறியபின்தான் தங்கள் வயிற்றில் மனுவுரு எடுத்தார்.

தாங்கள் இவ்வாறு கூறுவீர்களென்று

அவருடைய அளவற்ற ஞானம் காரணமாக

அவருக்கு நித்திய காலமாகத் தெரியுமாகையால்,

தனது நித்திய திட்டப்படி,

தாங்கள்

சென்மப்பாவமாசின்றி

தங்கள் தாயின் வயிற்றில் உற்பத்தியாக

வரம் அருளினார்,

இறைவனின் தாய் முற்றிலும் பரிசுத்தமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக.

மனுக்குலத்திலேயே

சென்மப்பாவ மாசின்றி உற்பவித்த

ஒரே பெண்மணி நீங்கள் மட்டுமே.

இயேசுவே தங்களுக்கு
இவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்திருக்க,

நாங்கள் கொடுக்கக்கூடாதாம்.

அம்மா, தங்கள் திருமகன்

உலகில் வாழ்ந்த 33

ஆண்டுகளில் 30 ஆண்டுகள்

தங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து,

தங்களுக்கு உதவி செய்து வாழ்ந்தார்.

இதிலிருந்து தெரியவில்லையா தங்கள் மகன் தங்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தார் என்று.

இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றும் நாங்கள் அவர் வாழ்ந்து காட்டியதைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டாமா?

அவர் நேசித்த உம்மை நாங்களும் நேசிக்க வேண்டாமா?

'பாரம்பரியம் வேண்டாம், பைபிள் மட்டும் போதும்' என்பவர்கள் அதில் உள்ளதையாவது ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளவேண்டாமா?

இயேசுவை வயிற்றில் சுமந்து  பெற்றெடுத்து பாலூட்டி வளர்த்த நீங்கள் பேறுபெற்றவர்கள் என்று அவர் காலத்தவரே புகழ்ந்ததை(லூக்.11:27)  இவர்கள் பைபிளில் வாசிக்கவில்லையா?

ஒருவரை மற்றொருவரோடு பெருமையாக ஒப்பிடும்போது
யாரோடு ஒப்பிடுகிறாரோ அவர் பெருமை வாய்ந்தவராக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

தன்னைப் பின்பற்றும் தன் சீடரை, அம்மா, உங்களோடு ஒப்பிடுகிறார். (மத்.12:49)

ஏனெனில், நீங்கள் உங்கள் திருமகனைப் போலவே பிதாவின் திருச்சித்தத்தை நிறைவேற்றுகிறீர்கள்.

ஆகவே பிதாவின் திருச்சித்தத்தை நிறைவேற்றும் சீடர்களும்

இயேசுவின் தாய் ஆகிறார்கள்.

இதிலிருந்து என்ன புரிகிறது?

எங்கெல்லாம் இயயேசுவுக்கு சீடர்கள் இருக்கிறார்களோ

அங்கெல்லாம் நீங்களும் இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

இயேசுவின் தாயாகிய நீங்கள் எப்படி நடந்தீர்களோ

அப்படியே நாங்களும் நடந்தால்

இயேசுவின்  சீடர்கள் ஆகிறோம்.

சுருக்கமாகச் சொல்வதானால்

உண்மையான கிறிஸ்தவனுக்கு நீங்களே முன்மாதிரி.

என்று நாங்களும் உங்களைப்போல,

"இதோ ஆண்டவருடைய அடிமை, உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே எனக்கு ஆகக்கடவது"

என்றுகூறி இறைவனிடம் சரணாகதி அடைகிறோமோ
அன்றுதான் நாங்கள் உண்மையான கிறிஸ்தவர்கள்.

நாங்கள் உங்கள் பாதுகாப்பில் உங்களைப்போல வாழ வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகத்தான்

தங்கள் மகன் தான் சிலுவையில் மரிக்குமுன்   உங்களை எங்கள் அன்னையாக்கினார்.

"இயேசு தம் தாயையும் அருகில் நின்றதம் அன்புச் சீடரையும் கண்டு, தம் தாயை நோக்கி, "அம்மா, இதோ! உம் மகன்" என்றார்.

27 பின்பு சீடரை நோக்கி, "இதோ! உன் தாய்" என்றார். அந்நேரமுதல் அச்சீடர் அவளைத் தம் வீட்டில் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்."

அருளப்பரைப்போலவே

நாங்களும் உங்களை

எம் வீட்டில்

ஏற்றுக்கொண்டோம்.

அம்மா, நம்மிடமிருந்து பிரிந்துபோன ககோதரர்கள் நம்மிடம் வந்து சேர உம் திருமகனிடம் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளும்.

அவர்கட்கு செபமாலை என்றால் என்னவென்று புரியவில்லை போலிருக்கிறது.

அவர்கள் வழியாகப் பார்த்தாலும்கூட,

அவர்களும் ஏற்றுக் கொண்ட பைபிள் நிகழ்ச்சிகளைத்தானே தியானிக்கிறோம்.

அவர்கட்கு உங்களை வாழ்த்துவது பிடிக்கவில்லை.

"தூதர் அவளது இல்லம் சென்று, " அருள் நிறைந்தவளே வாழ்க, ஆண்டவர் உம்முடனே " என்றார்." (லூக். 1:28)

இறைவன் அனுப்பிய கபிரியேல் தூதர் உங்களிடம் சொன்ன வாழ்த்துரையைத்தானே சொல்லுகிறோம்.

இது ஏன் அவர்கட்குப் புரியவில்லை?

அம்மா,

அவர்கட்காகவும்,

எங்களுக்காகவும்

உம் திரு மகனிடம்

வேண்டிக்கொள்ளும்.

எனக்கு முன்பே மோட்சத்திற்கு வந்துவிட்ட
செல்வ பாக்கியத்திடம் என் அன்பைத் தெரிவியுங்கள்.

என்றும் தங்கள் அன்பில் வாழும் மகன்,
